Mind Map Coaching
Our Story

Built from the classroom up.

Mind Map Coaching started with a simple observation: the tools that exist for students, teachers, and parents don't talk to each other — and nobody is closing the loop.

The Founding Story

Every day in elementary classrooms, a quiet crisis unfolds.

After a decade of watching standard academic solutions collide with historic levels of student frustration, attention gaps, and behavioral disruptions, the pattern became impossible to ignore. Billions of dollars are poured into traditional tutoring and phonics drills annually — yet many vulnerable students continue to hit a hard, invisible cognitive ceiling.

The breaking point came when trying to understand why individual learners couldn't breach that ceiling despite clearly having the capacity. The realization was profound: the educational system was attempting to force-feed intensive curriculum into overloaded, under-regulated minds.

Shifting the Paradigm

Cognitive science is clear: reading comprehension is an intense executive functioning workout. If a student lacks Working Memory, they forget the beginning of a sentence by the time they decode the end. If they lack Inhibitory Control, minor distractions derail them. The systemic missing link isn't a lack of intelligence — it's an underdeveloped executive functioning engine.

Traditional testing only measures what a child missed on a binary right/wrong sheet, long after they've already begun to fail. This creates an agonizing "wait-to-fail" bottleneck that leaves parents burdened with clinical guilt and teachers buried under manual paperwork. Mind Map Coaching was built to step in as an objective "smoke detector" — isolating processing speed vulnerabilities early, before an official clinical label is stamped.

We are Building in Public because systemic educational change requires radical transparency. Follow our live roadmap as we take this platform from concept to a fully realized ecosystem — and together, rewrite early academic success.

Building the Ecosystem Bridge

Galaxy Rangers Quest turns cognitive conditioning into an immersive space quest students love. While they play, our backend maps behavioral telemetry — response latency, error patterns — in real time. For teachers: automated class heatmaps and MTSS-aligned strategy templates. For parents: a "Friday Release" system of screen-free weekend games that reinforce neural growth naturally at home.

What we believe

Four principles that shape every product decision we make.

Executive Functioning First

We build for the engine, not the content. Working memory, cognitive flexibility, and inhibitory control are the real levers of academic success.

Three Audiences, One Platform

Students, teachers, and parents each get a purpose-built experience — not a watered-down version of someone else's tool.

Radical Transparency

We build in public. Every decision, every pivot, every lesson learned gets logged. You can follow the thinking as it happens.

Research Before Product

No feature ships without a research foundation. We synthesize the science first, then design the experience around what actually works.
